relationships (Psalm 126:1-6) Finding Joy

(Psalm 126:1-6)

1   When the Lord brought back the captives of Zion,
     We were like those who dream.
2   Then our mouth was filled with laughter
     And our tongue with joyful shouting;
     Then they said among the nations,
     “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3   The Lord has done great things for us;
     We are joyful.

4   Restore our fortunes, Lord,
     As the streams in the South.
5   Those who sow in tears shall harvest with joyful shouting.
6   One who goes here and there weeping, carrying his bag of seed,
     Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

TODAY'S THOUGHTS AND MEDITATION:
In our personal relationship with the Lord, He blesses us with inner peace and joy as we are living in His will!  Believers are able to rejoice together in unity and proclaim all that the Lord has done for us, so that others will see and hear.  Therefore, through good times or through struggles, as we go through this fleeting life, striving to be obedient while relying on His wisdom, righteousness and strength, we will be planting seeds of God's word and His love.
Even if we do not see any results, we should be encouraged to know that the Lord will use these efforts to do great things!  And these great things in turn produce more joy and blessings.  And once we reach our final destination, we will be rewarded for good deeds done with right motives, we will be fully restored, and our joy will be complete as all believers spend eternity with the Lord!
